Mike and his crew of three other gentlemen arrived when they said they would and completed the project in one day! Mike and his father returned the next day to pull out the forms (just as they said they said). The estimate was spot on and half the price of other estimates I received for the same work. Mike was very accommodating and patient as I expanded the initial projects and was completely unphased when (on the day work startedI told him I wanted the large patio in the back extended an additional three feet. I am so impressed with the work they did! If I need more concrete work I would not hesitate to contact them again and I would readily suggest them to anyone else.

us
We are a family first. Mike Thompson and his wife, Kelly, have six kids; three daughters and three sons. Luke, Jake, and Ben all work for the business in the field. While Sarah and Laura have helped us in the past, you'll now find Hannah handling things in the office.
Our family is a tight-knit group that loves each other and truly care about the business that's supported us for over 25 years. We understand that the only way a company thrives is by taking really good care of our customers. To us, "really good care," is about quality, dependability, honesty, and respect.

Mike quickly learned what a great work ethic required while growing up on a farm. When his farming days were over, he carried that work ethic into his new career as a concrete contractor. Mike has been pouring concrete for over 35 years in three different states.
Concrete is different than a lot of other form of construction tasks; mistakes are not easily fixed.
Mike and his crew know the importance of checking measurements multiple times. As Ben Franklin said,

What's more frustrating than a contractor that doesn't communicate where you are on his/her schedule? A contractor who doesn't show up when they say they will!
There's a lot that can effect our schedule, and ultimately, yours. Weather, unforeseeable issues on the job before yours, unexpected breakdowns, illness, etc. Just like anything else, multiple factors come in to making it to your home/site on time as expected. The difference with Thompson Concrete? We promise to explain any delays as soon as they occur.

Respect is huge- not just in business- but in person, too. Mike doesn't settle and has built his crew out of respectable people. the way you speak to a person, how you treat them, is crucial to a well-functioning team, business, and relationship with each client.
